Mab 630

The MAB 630 automatically winds cable onto cardboard/plastic/wooden/steel plate reels. The max weight allowed for the reel is 200 Kg.

The cable length is variable from 250 (820') to 1000 m (3.280') and the winding speed of this line allows to work in tandem with the extruder.

The standard arrangement of the MAB 630 consists of two self-aligning payoffs type SDA 2240 which feed a vertical accumulator.

The reel storage facility is manually filled by the operator and contains empty reels for about 40 minutes of production (a high capacity reel storage can be incorporated, on request).

An automatic double manipulator operates the feeding of the empty reel and, at the same time, the unloading of the full reel. While the MAB 630 is winding the new empty reel, the previously wound reel is simultaneously being wrapped with stretch film, labelled with one, two or three labels, placed on a vertical axis and sent to the palletizing area.

A collet, assembled onto a translator at Cartesian axis, catches the reel inside the core, lifts it up and places it on the pallet, according to the chosen configuration, on the basis of the diameter of the reel or other specific requirements. Such configurations are memorized in the PLC and can be recalled every time a reel is in production. Once the pallet is filled, it is automatically moved away while a new empty pallet reaches the palletizing area.
