The Length Measuring Device consist of a frame, which supports the casehardened guides for the lift of the upper track, which is composed of two timing pulleys.
A pneumatic actuator lifts the upper track with manual valve through a pressure regulator.
The two pulleys on the upper track are connected with a timing belt.

The two lower track pulleys are assembled on a trolley and connected together by a timing belt. Onto a pulley is coupled and encoder which measures the revolutions and transmits it to the electronic device which turns it into meters. All of the components are assembled on a pedestal with four anti-vibration fixing feet.
